If you are coming to Ecoforest, make sure you arrange this with us in advance otherwise we will not be able to guarrentee accomodation or food! Pease read the guidelines for visitors before you set out!

If you are arriving by public transport:

From Malaga and Airport...
From just outside Malaga Airport Arrivals hall, take the bus stop to the main bus station in Malaga (Estacion de Autobuses). It costs €1 and takes about 20 minutes...
The main bus station has buses to Coin, and costs app. €2.60 for the one hour journey.
Times: 8.45*, 9.45, 11.45**, 13.00***, 13.30**, 15.30**, 16.30, 18.15**, 18.30**, 20.00.
* not Saturday or Sunday, ** not Sunday, *** not Saturday.
Buy a ticket from the booth in the hall, before boarding the bus. Upon arrival in Coin, you can take a taxi, cycle, walk or hitchhike the 10 km from Coin to Ecoforest.

Taxi
From the airport, ask for Coin and direct driver with the map (app. €40).
From Coin, ask for Puente Valenciana (app. €10). The taxi will drop you at the bridge and you will have to walk the last 1½ km.

If you are arriving by car:

From Cadiz / Algeciras….
Follow the N-340 towards Malaga and take the Ojen exit, just before Marbella. Continue straight past Ojen and follow the signs for Coin.

From Malaga....
Follow the N-340 towards Cadiz/Marbella, but as it leaves Malaga (just after police station on left), take left-hand lane towards Cartama and Pizarra.
After 15 mins, you'll see signs to Coin.

If arriving by car, take the road to Alozaina, which starts at the roundabout at the bottom of the hill near the “Feria” (fairground/Saturday market place).

If arriving on foot, walk from the bus stop to the roundabout at the bottom of the hill, following the road to Alozaina (which starts at the roundabout near the “Feria”).

Once on the Alozaina road, about 3 Km from Coin, you go over a wide river bridge then under a road bridge. At the roundabout, take the first exit. Pass a small rubbish dump on the right, then cross a normally dry riverbed. Follow our Eco signs along a twisty tarmac road (app. 5 Km) until you reach a bridge (called Puente Valenciana) at the end of the tarmac road. Cross the bridge, up a concrete track, which becomes a dirt track.
Keep following the small Eco signs. Go STRAIGHT up the hill and pass through a group of fenced houses. At the bottom of the hill, app. 1 Km from the bridge, there is a very large electricity pylon. TURN LEFT, taking the sharpest of the three left turns, across a small river bed with a footbridge above and to your left. Continue along the road passing a house named "Laura" and an empty school building at the top. Continue down the steep hill, through the orange trees, heading towards the river. TURN RIGHT at the T-junction at the bottom of the hill. Continue for 100m until you see the Ecoforest sign and a collection of cars, tents etc.
IN WINTER when its wet, only drive down from the school with a 4 wheel drive, otherwise walk the rest of the way and ask us where to park.
